This delightful lamp is made from recycled ocean-bound plastic

Those cute little soy fish don’t just pack a punch on your sushi; they’re another single-use plastic that has a horrific impact on the ocean and marine life, all for a few squirts of flavour. They’re also the inspiration of Heliograf’s award-winning Light Soy lamp that’s “stopping plastic pollution at the ‘sauce’”.

Made with over 75% ocean-bound plastic collected in areas that cause ocean pollution, this charming lamp is a playful yet powerful reminder of the impact single-use plastic has. The upcycled design by the Australian studio is made with a careful consideration of appeal, sustainability, and functionality – all wrapped up in biodegradable packaging. Plus, for every lamp sold, Heliograf funds the cleanup of an additional 2kg of ocean-bound plastic.

Equal parts conversation starter as it is a delight to look at, the portable lamp has touch-control dimming to help you set the mood and is also rechargeable to minimise waste. This is the drop of joy we can get behind!
