This Naarm streetwear label supports young people affected by homelessness

Streetwear meets social enterprise in the Naarm/Melbourne-based label using drip as an opportunity to help young people affected by homelessness and hardship. Simply put, HoMie is giving those in need the shirts off their back.

From slick tracksuits to cosy hoodies, HoMie’s retail collection is worth repping on style alone, but the impact of each piece is what truly takes it to the next level. The not-for-profit runs two social impact programs: The HoMie Pathway Alliance which is an accredited retail education and employment program for people aged 18-25 affected by homelessness and hardship, and HoMie VIP Days where young people are welcomed into the store for free HoMie clothes, beauty services, personal care packs, and lunch. Since 2015, they’ve helped 3,435 people and counting!

Besides their core collections and epic collabs with the likes of Champion, Disney  and AFL, HoMie’s Reborn label has also saved over 4,400 garments from landfill by creating one-of-a-kind pieces in their Australian-first upcycling factory. And, as always, all profits support HoMie’s mission to combat youth homelessness.
