For many women in difficult and dangerous situations, the lack of safe opportunities to establish financial independence means choosing between homelessness or their abuser – a reality Mettle is fighting to change. 

Helping survivors of domestic and family violence one gorgeous gift box at a time, Mettle employs women experiencing homelessness due to abusive environments, empowering them with the skills, confidence, and financial security to escape the cycle and achieve the independence they need to thrive. Working in partnership with crisis shelters to support women in their six-month paid employment program, each Mettle order is manufactured, fulfilled, and dispatched by these women, giving them a step up to secure stable employment or study opportunities for a safe and sustainable future.
