Founded as ‘a jewellery label that actually cares’, Mountain & Moon partners with the Saheli Women foundation to put power in your purchase – reinvesting a percentage of all sales into on-the-ground projects that help women in the rural village of Bhikamkor. Through Saheli, the women are provided with fair wages, health insurance coverage, and a safe work environment free from gender, religious and caste discrimination in ethical fashion manufacturing. Plus, as a social initiative of the Institute For Philanthropy and Humanitarian Development, all the daughters of Saheli Women members have their education sponsored and IPHD runs the only female health clinic in the village. 

Mountain & Moon also supports Saheli Women by providing job opportunities in the form of their fair-trade and ethical jewellery bags.
